Employment Opportunities

Visitation Academy is an independent, Catholic school educating young boys, girls and young women ages 2 to 18. The Lower School includes a co-ed Montessori preschool and an all girls program in grades K-6. The Upper School offers a challenging college preparatory program for young women in grades 7 through 12.

The Lower School at Visitation Academy

Teaching positions for 2013-2014:
Full Time Toddler Montessori Teacher The classroom teacher will be responsible for organizing instruction, managing the classroom and facilitating students' learning. The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic, caring, experienced team player who works effectively with students in the classroom and forms strong working relationships with parents.

Montessori certification is required. Additional early childhood or elementary certification a plus. The Upper School at Visitation Academy

Teaching positions for 2013-2014:
Part-time Middle School Physical Science
Full-time AP Chemistry/AP Physics


Candidates should possess appropriate teaching certification, a degree in the teaching area, Master’s degree preferred, five to eight years of successful experience in teaching middle school and/or high school students.
