Register Now for the Annual Gleason Run

Visitation Academy invites individuals ages 10 and up to participate in its fourth annual Molly Gleason 5K Run / 2K Walk on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 8 a.m.  Participants can run or walk on a gently rolling course that passes through the Visitation Academy and Missouri Baptist Medical Center campuses. 

All proceeds benefit the Visitation Academy Molly Gleason Memorial Scholarship Fund. Established in 2004, the fund is a tribute to the life of Molly Gleason, a 6th grader at Visitation whose brave battle with leukemia began and ended earlier that year.

Download the registration form and return it to Visitation Academy no later than Friday, April 9.  The registration cost is $20 per person. 

Packet and t-shirt pickup will take place on Friday, April 16 from 3-5 p.m. in the Visitation Academy main lobby, and on race day from 7-7:45 a.m. in the circle drive.

The Molly Gleason Memorial Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance to qualified young Christian women regardless of socio-economic background and life circumstances. Recipients must demonstrate financial need and may be enrolled in the Lower School or Upper School at Visitation Academy. Preference will be given to a daughter of a single parent in the Lower School.
