Attend the "Flower Power" Spring Concert

The entire Visitation Academy community is invited to attend "Flower Power" - the Upper School's spring concert and art show - at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 in Buder Gymnasium. 

The evening's musical program features 30 recognizable numbers, including "Hey Jude," "California Dreamin'," "On Broadway," "Downtown," "Georgy Girl," "Proud Mary" and "Aquarius." The event also will also feature performances by individual students as well as the handbell, chamber and concert choirs.

Student artwork will be on display outside the gymnasium before and after the show. Additionally, several of the musical numbers will be accompanied by photographic presentations assembled by junior and senior students.

In keeping with the 1960's era theme, all attendees are asked to dress in 60's-style attire. Wardrobe choices ranging from Mad Men-esque clothing to slightly more psychedelic options are both welcomed and encouraged.

Admission to the concert and art show is free. Individuals with questions should contact Mr. Greg Schweizer.
