Age 2 - Grade 4

To be considered for admission to the Toddler Program - Grade 4 for the 2012-2013 school year, the following steps must be completed by January 20, 2012. 



Submit the online application via Visitation Academy's Web site.
 If you require a paper copy, contact the Admission Office at (314) 625-9292.

Pay the application fee of $75. You can make payment online at the time of application or submit a check made payable to Visitation Academy.


Print and complete a copy of the transcript release form and return it to your current school's office. Your school will need to send a transcript - complete with three years of report cards and three years of standardized testing - directly to Viz along with this completed form.



Print a copy of the teacher recommendation form and forward it to your child's lead teacher. The form is confidential and should be returned by the teacher directly to Visitation Academy. 



Schedule a student visit (students interested in Grades 1-6). Applicants to Grades 1-3 will visit for a half day and end their day by having lunch with classmates. Applicants to Grade 4 will visit until 2:15 p.m. Call (314) 625-9292 to schedule.

Schedule a parent conference (required for applicants of all ages). If a student visit is already scheduled, parents are encouraged to schedule their conference for the same day. Call (314) 625-9292 to schedule. 



Sit for an entrance evaluation.
Entrance evaluation requirements vary by grade level:

  • Age 2 - Grade K: The student will be scheduled to interact with a Montessori teacher on Saturday, February 18 once his/her file is complete. Kindergarten applicants also will sit for a standardized assessment that day.
  • Grades 1-5: Applicants will sit for a standardized test on the day of their visit.
