Financial Assistance
Visitation Academy offers a financial assistance program funded by both its operating budget and generous contributions from the Visitation community. The objective is to provide assistance to families for whom payment of tuition creates a financial burden. Assistance is based on need and availability of funds without regard to race, color, religion, ethnic origin or disability. Note that new applicants will be considered for financial assistance awards only after they have completed the admission process.
Visitation uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial assistance applications and provide preliminary data relative to each family's financial need.
To apply, visit http://sss.nais.org and complete a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) by December 31, 2012; Visitation Academy's school code is 1093. Late applicants will be considered only if funds remain and may be placed on a waiting list.
As soon as it is available, you also must mail a copy of your completed 2012 IRS Form 1040 income tax return (including all related schedules and W-2s) directly to SSS (along with their "Required Documents" cover sheet) at the following address:
School and Student Services
P.O. Box 449
Randolph, MA 02368-0449
Financial assistance awards are contingent upon mailing the required tax documents to this address.
Award letters will be mailed to returning students in mid-February 2013, and to new students when their admission letters are sent. Please note that new students must also separately apply for admission to Visitation Academy.
