Visitation Academy is a Catholic independent school educating preschool boys, girls, and young women ages 2 to 18. The Lower School includes a coed Montessori preschool for boys and girls ages 2-5 and an all-girls program for Grades 1 through 6. The Upper School offers a challenging college preparatory program for young women Grades 7 through 12. All students are educated within a community that strives to "Live Jesus" and inculcates values of gentle strength, optimism, respect and loving concern. A small student-teacher ratio ensures personal attention for each student. Founded in 1833 by the Visitation Sisters, the Academy is rich in tradition and community. The value driven educational system is as relevant for the 21st century as it was for the 19th. In fidelity to our heritage, Visitation offers financial aid and encourages a diverse student population.
