OVERVIEW

Dear Alumnae,

Welcome to the alumnae web site! This site should be a handy tool for you to keep in touch with fellow alumnae and your alma mater. Please refer often to the site's alumnae calendar and news about your classmates.

As a 1978 alumna, I am excited about my role as Alumnae Director. I always look forward to getting to know fellow alumnae throughout the United States and other countries. New initiatives are always in the planning stages. You'll hear more about these future events as plans are finalized. If you have any ideas, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I especially look forward to the Alumnae Reunion Weekend held each year in October. For information about our next reunion, please check the reunion page. What a wonderful time to renew past friendships and recall cherished memories of our years at Visitation! This is an exciting time with many activities planned for alumnae and their families. I look forward to seeing you at the next one.

Realizing how rewarding my work is, I encourage you to return more often to Viz, too. There are many ways for you to become involved at our alma mater. Class representatives are a vital link to Visitation Academy. A class representative's responsibilities include communicating with fellow classmates about upcoming events,
reunions, e-mail addresses, news of births, deaths, marriages and helping with the Annual Giving program. If you are interested in volunteering as a class representative, please contact the Alumnae Office. We are always in need of volunteers for alumnae projects. Even if you are unable to volunteer, we would love to see you involved by attending events on campus.

Please continue your support of the Visitation Alumnae Annual Fund appeal, held each fall. I invite you to join your classmates and contribute to our alma mater. Our annual gifts help to strengthen and preserve our school's tradition of academic excellence and spirituality. Please help us provide our current students with the same opportunities we had.

News about you, your family and your activities as well as news about other alumnae is always welcome. Also, please contact me if I can provide any assistance to you relating to our alumnae. You can reach me at spress@visitationacademy.org or 314-625-9106.

Sincerely,

Susan Press
