Dear Sister Alumnae,

Alumnae Association President Ginny Kahlmeyer Cooke '78 poses with her daughter, Shelby (Grade 1). |
During the past two years, Kelly Hines Wuennenberg '92 has been a tremendous guiding force for our Alumnae Association. Kelly showed superior leadership, dedication and enthusiasm in helping make Alumnae Association participation grow and increase overall awareness.
As the incoming Alumnae Association President, I am excited and optimistic about the next two years. I would like to continue to increase awareness among our sister alumnae. During the past years, more and more of you have enjoyed events such as Reunion Weekend and the Alumnae Social Hour. We have also added new events and I would love to see more alumnae attend these as well. In April, we hosted the First Annual Easter Egg Hunt, which was a huge success.
Our Association has two meetings each year and plans various special events including this yearıs Fourth Annual Alumnae Reunion Weekend held October 6-8, 2006.
Breakfast with Santa and the Easter Egg Hunt are events that give us the opportunity, not only to reconnect with fellow alumnae but also, to meet their children and spouses. They are special because our "young alumnae" as well as our tried and true alumnae come back year after year.
It will be my privilege to report to you about our Associationıs ongoing success. It is my responsibility to make you aware of events and encourage you to get involved. I look forward to seeing you and many of your classmates at an upcoming Alumnae Association gathering.
If you have any questions or an interest in volunteering at an alumnae event, please contact Susan Knowles Press at 314-625-9106 or by e-mail at spress@visitationacademy.org.

Sincerely,
Ginny Kahlmeyer Cooke '78
