WAYS TO GIVE

Cash
A cash gift is a simple way to deliver immediate benefits to Visitation while maximizing your charitable deduction.

Stock Transfer
Many donors enhance their gifts to Visitation Academy while receiving significant tax benefits by donating appreciated stock or mutual fund shares. In order to insure that your gift is properly recorded and acknowledged, it is important that you inform the school in writing of the gift (specify the number of shares and the company), the campaign to which you are making the gift, and the date of the stock transfer. Please send this information to:

Ms. Sherry Williams
Director of Finance and Operations
Visitation Academy
3020 North Ballas Road
St. Louis, MO 63131
Telephone:
Fax:
Email:
314-625-9111
314-432-5355
swilliams@visitationacademy.org

Stock is valued at the average sale price on the day of the gift.

If your stock is in a brokerage account, do not request a stock certificate. Instead, please contact Jan Donovan, Director of Advancement, (314-625-9104) for instructions on transferring the stock directly into the school’s account.

If you have the stock certificate, please deliver it to the Visitation Academy Business Office in person or by mail. Please make sure the certificate is accompanied by your name, address and telephone number.

NEW! On-line Giving
Our secure on-line form may now be used for gifts to Visitation Academy. It's easy! Make your gift today.

MATCHING GIFTS
Many employers match the gifts their employees contribute to charitable institutions. Yours may double or triple your donation. To see if your company participates in a matching gift program, contact the human resources department of your company.
