Programs for 3 to 5-year Olds
The Montessori Program…
- is for girls and boys who are 3, 4, and 5 years old
- consists of five half-days per week
- has a maximum class size of twenty-four students
- is staffed by two Montessori-trained teachers
- bases admission upon parent visit and teacher/child interaction
The curriculum of the Montessori Program includes:
- Practical Life
- Sensorial Activities
- Language
- Mathematics
- Religion
- Cultural Subjects
(Geography, History & Science)
- French
- Art
- Music
- Physical Education
Full-Day Program for 3- and 4-Year-Olds…
- is for children ages 3 and 4
- enrolls children in the morning Montessori session and the afternoon Program
- offers a variety of age-appropriate learning opportunities
- allows children to remain in a safe, nurturing, caring and consistent environment throughout the day
The Montessori Kindergarten Program…
- is for girls who are 5 years old by August 1
- consists of five full-day sessions where children participate in Montessori for half of the day and Kindergarten for the other half of the day
- has a maximum class size of fourteen
- is staffed by one teacher
- bases admission upon teacher/child interaction, teacher recommendation and parent conferences
The curriculum of the Kindergarten Program includes:
- Practical Life
- Sensorial Activities
- Language
- Mathematics
- French
- Religion
- Cultural Subjects (Geography, History & Science)
- Art
- Music
- Computer
- Physical Education
