Sharon Conley Spellman ’89
Director of Admissions
Sharon joined Visitation Academy as the Associate Director of Admissions in December 2016, and in June 2017 she became the Director of Admissions. Sharon also is a 1989 graduate of Viz as well as the mother of a current student. After graduating from St. Mary’s College in South Bend, IN in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Education, she went on to earn her master’s degree in Education from the University of Iowa. Sharon took a 16-year break from teaching elementary school to stay home with her four children and is thrilled to be involved in the world of education again. She is very proud to be a part of the Viz Admissions team, bringing in wonderful families who help fulfill our school mission.
Stephanie Clark Dolan ’96
Director of Enrollment and Lower School Admissions
Stephanie is a proud 1996 Visitation Academy graduate and the mother of a current Lower School student. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases in marketing, communications, and psychology from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2000. Stephanie joined Viz in the Advancement Department in 2012 as the Alumnae Relations Coordinator. In June 2017, she joined the Admissions team as the Director of Admissions Marketing. Stephanie was recently appointed the new Director of Enrollment and Lower School Admissions, bringing her appreciation of and passion for Viz to families interested in our Lower School. She loves helping families and students discover Viz, showcasing all that our school and the Viz community have to offer.
Heather joined the Visitation Academy Admissions team in September 2018, filling the role of Admissions Coordinator. Like Sharon and Stephanie, she also is the mother of a current student. Heather and her family moved to St. Louis in January 2000. After taking a 15-and-a-half-year break from nursing to stay home with her two children, Heather was excited to become part of the team at Viz, having volunteered in many roles at her children’s schools over the years. Heather loves helping others see why Viz provides the perfect environment for students to learn and thrive.
