TUITION & TUITION ASSISTANCE

Visitation Academy actively seeks a diverse student body, as we value the talents and experiences that students from a variety of socioeconomic, religious, and ethnic backgrounds bring to the classroom. We are committed to enrolling qualified students and will make every effort to meet a family’s tuition needs. We award over $750,000 in tuition assistance each year, with one in every five families receiving assistance. If you feel that Visitation Academy is the best choice for your child, don’t let financial need stop you from applying. Instead, please contact Sherry Williams, Director of Finance and Operations, at (314) 625-9291 to discuss how you can afford a Visitation education.

For the 2017/2018 school year, tuition for the Upper School (Grades 9-12) is $19,985. Tuition for the Middle School (Grades 6-8) is $18,565. Tuition for both the Upper School and Middle School includes lunch and fees, but does not include books and the laptop lease.

Tuition for the Lower School (Kindergarten – 5th Grade) is $15,985. To meet the needs of our families, we offer a wide selection of attendance options for our Montessori Toddlers and 3-5 year-olds programs, ranging from two half-days ($3,985) to five full days ($15,985). TUITION ASSISTANCE

Visitation Academy offers tuition assistance, funded by both its operating budget and generous contributions from the Visitation community, to families who would not otherwise be able to afford the full cost of a Visitation education. Assistance is based on demonstrated need and availability of funds, without regard to race, color, religion, ethnic origin, or disability.

Visitation uses School and Student Services (SSS) to process tuition assistance applications and provide preliminary data relative to each family’s financial need.

To apply, visit https://sss.secure.force.com/familyportal and complete a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS). The SSS portal opens October 24, 2016, and Visitation Academy’s school code is 1093; the PFS must be completed by December 31, 2016. Late applicants will be considered if funds remain and may be placed on a waiting list.

As soon as it is available, applicants must mail a copy of their completed 2016 IRS Form 1040 income tax return (including all related schedules and W-2s) directly to SSS (along with their “Required Documents” cover sheet) at the following address:

School and Student Services
P.O. Box 449
Randolph, MA 02368-0449

Tuition assistance awards are contingent upon mailing the required tax documents to this address.

Award letters will be mailed to returning students no later than mid-February 2017, and to new students with their letters of admission.

Please contact Mindy Unland at (314) 625-9295 with questions about the application process for tuition assistance.

OPTIONAL TUITION ASSISTANCE ESTIMATE PROVIDED FOR 9TH GRADE APPLICANTS

We realize that the Archdiocesan application to select a 1st choice high school is due November 16. Visitation Academy also understands that an estimate of tuition assistance in advance of this might be helpful in your decision. We strive to make the tuition assistance application process comfortable for our families, and please know that your application is confidential.  We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process tuition assistance applications and provide preliminary data relative to your family’s financial need.
