January 9-20 Safari Auction Classroom Competition: Take advantage of all the sales during this holiday season to purchase an item to donate to Safari. The class with the highest percentage of participation will win a special treat! In addition, for each donation valued at $50.00 or more the parents’ names will be added to a drawing for two free tickets to attend Safari! Three sets of tickets total will be awarded to parents in the Lower, Middle and Upper School.

New Girl Scouts online troop forming for girls in grades 9-12 focused on service and travel. The group will consist of members from Catholic parishes and schools. The group is intended to help meet the needs of girls who are very busy and involved in many different activities. If you’d like more information please contact: katherinejwburke@gmail.com

For Juniors and Seniors
SCAD Challenge
Showcase your art for a chance at a scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design. Juniors and Seniors are invited to submit original art that demonstrates creativity, innovation and a strong understanding of aesthetics. There are different categories for Juniors and Seniors. Please visit scad.edu/scadchallenge for more information and to register. Registration deadline is December 15, 2016. Submissions must be completed by February 3, 2017.

For Juniors
The University of Notre Dame is offering two summer Study Abroad programs for rising seniors in high school. A two-week program in Rome, Italy (June 3-July 17) and a 12 day program in Ireland (July 15-29). The application deadline for the programs is January 30, 2017. Please see precollege.nd.edu for more information and to access the online application.
