Viz Fund FAQ

List of 3 frequently asked questions.

  • What is the Viz Fund?

Visitation Academy, like all independent Catholic schools, relies on the generous philanthropic support of parents, alumnae, faculty and staff, parents of alumnae, grandparents, and friends to implement strategic enhancements to and maintain excellence of our educational programs and facilities. The Viz Fund provides the much needed support that bridges the gap between the cost of a Visitation education and the cost of tuition. All gifts to the The Viz Fund are tax-deductible.
  • Why is the Viz Fund so important?

In addition to bridging the gap between the cost of a Visitation education and the cost of tuition, contributions to The Viz Fund also:
    • Recruit and retain talented teachers
    • Provide safe and modern facilities
    • Keep class sizes small
    • Maintain an exceptional curriculum
    • Provide students, faculty, and staff with access to innovative technology
    • Allow for professional development opportunities for faculty and staff
  • When should I give to The Viz Fund?

The Annual Fund runs from July 1 to June 30. Every fall, Visitation families,
alumnae, and friends will be asked for an Annual Fund contribution to meet a budgeted gross dollar goal and participation goal.
