Sewing the Seeds of Learning

To coincide with the reading of the 1953 play by American playwright Arthur Miller, The Crucible, juniors in Mrs. Farinella's American literature class headed to the Makerspace to sew dolls from Puritan times. Most of the students were new to sewing, so while it was challenging, they enjoyed learning a new skill. When complete, students brought their dolls to class to use while reading the play.
