Pooling the Results
The Viz swim and dive team completed their season last weekend, competing in State competition at the St. Peters Rec-Plex. Team captain Amelia Dino (Class of 2023) competed individually in the 200 and 500 freestyle, capping off a strong four years in those two events.
Amelia also competed in the 200 medley relay with Sandra Kim (Class of 2026), Caylee Moore (Class of 2024), and Madison Seabaugh (Class of 2026) and 400 free relay with Caroline Hugge (Class of 2025), Caylee Moore, and Madison Seabaugh. The team posted some impressive splits in both events. Shout out to Julia Kelpe (Class of 2023), the first Viz diver to make it into State competition.
Visitation Academy is an independent, private Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori preschool and Kindergarten program, the area's only all-girl elementary program for Grades 1-5, and an all-girl middle school and all-girl high school.
