Shaking Things Up

Katie Fogertey, Viz Class of 2001 and Chief Financial Officer of Shake Shack, met with Upper School students in the Ellen Thomasson Malecek Entrepreneurial Leadership Program via Zoom on April 14. Katie, who has served as Shake Shack's CFO since 2021, answered questions submitted by students about her career path, obstacles as a woman in her position, what she is most proud of professionally and personally, and the experiences she had at VIZ that helped mold her in her journey to where she is today to name a few.

 

She also offered advice to future Viz entrepreneurs as they move toward college and beyond. We are so thankful to Katie for returning to Viz to share her wisdom and experience with our current students.
