Congratulations to the Viz racquetball program! They spent 13 hours at Vetta Concord on Sunday in State action! It was a long day for all involved but ended in success for the racquetball team! Ellie Bacich finished 2nd in the Varsity #1 seed division and Emma Behrman was a state champion in the JV 2 #2 division. Great job, Viz!


Congratulations to our five seniors who signed their letters of intent to play sports at the university level! We are so proud of you! Viz officially will recognize these students on Field Day at an all-school assembly.

Congratulations to Meghan Ott, Visitation Academy’s MWAA Skippy Keefer Award winner. This award, given in honor of Skippy Keefer, longtime athletic director at John Burroughs School and one of the founders of the Metro Women’s Athletic Association, is given annually to a senior female athlete within the MWAA league who exemplifies the qualities of athletic participation and excellence in sportsmanship.







The swim team competed in the MWAA (metro women’s athletic association) big conference meet on Saturday. Pictured below are our girls with their medals after the meet.

Cross Country

Congratulations to junior Izzy Boedefeld who finished 9th overall at State for cross country this past weekend! Izzy competed against 189 other State qualifiers. This is the highest finish for a Viz runner at State since 2000! Congratulations to Izzy and Coach Russell on a great achievement!

The JV golf team placed 5th in the Riverside Golf Tournament today! Way to go, girls!

Cross Country
The cross country team tackled Sioux Passage Park on Saturday. This park is ranked by many national magazines as one of the top 10 hardest courses to run in America.

Congratulations to our varsity tennis team! They placed 2nd in the very challenging Parkway doubles tournament. They were defeated by John Burroughs, last year’s state champions.
