Ways to Give

We are pleased to offer a variety of ways to support Viz. Whether you choose to give toward operations, direct your gift to endowment or financial aid, explore planned giving, or join us at one of our annual events, your generosity makes a lasting difference in the lives of our students and the future of our community. In addition, many employers also offer matching gift programs that can double or even triple your contribution. Simply enter your employer's name on the giving page to see if your gift is eligible, and together we can make an even greater impact for our students and their future.

The Viz Fund

Like all independent Catholic schools, we rely on the generosity of parents, alumnae, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends to sustain excellence in our programs and facilities. Gifts to the Viz Fund make an immediate impact by supporting exceptional teachers, safe and modern facilities, small class sizes, innovative curriculum, technology, and professional development. All gifts are tax-deductible.

The Viz Fund runs each year from July 1 to June 30. Every fall, families, alumnae, and friends are invited to participate and help us reach our goals in both dollars raised and community participation. Please click here to give.

Viz Golf Tournament

Each year, our community comes together for the Viz Golf Tournament—a spirited day on the course filled with camaraderie and school pride. Proceeds directly support Visitation Athletics, providing resources that help our student-athletes grow, compete, and thrive. By participating, sponsoring, or cheering us on, you are making a lasting impact on the future of Viz athletics.

Giving Tuesday

During the holiday season, Visitation joins the global movement of Giving Tuesday, a day dedicated to generosity and gratitude. This annual campaign invites our entire community to come together in support of our students. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a direct and meaningful impact on their lives and the future of our school.

Safari Auction

The Annual Safari Auction is one of Visitation’s most beloved traditions. This festive evening brings together families, alumnae, and friends to celebrate our school community while raising vital funds to enhance the Viz experience for every student. Your support helps us continue to provide exceptional opportunities rooted in faith, learning, and sisterhood.

Girls Schools Unite

Each spring, our alumnae take center stage in Girls Schools Unite, a spirited fundraising challenge among independent all-girls Catholic schools in Saint Louis. More than a competition, it is a celebration of the unique value of an all-girls education and the loyalty of Viz graduates. Participation at any level shows the strength of our alumnae network and the meaningful difference it makes for today’s students.

NEW TAX BENEFIT FOR CHARITABLE GIVING
Beginning in tax year 2026, individuals who take the standard deduction may be eligible to deduct up to $1,000 in charitable cash gifts ($2,000 for married couples filing jointly). This new deduction provides another meaningful reason to support Visitation Academy while potentially receiving a tax benefit for your generosity.
