Application Process

Are You Ready to BE a Vivette?

Visitation Academy is an independent, private Catholic school where students thrive in an environment that allows them to BE: challenged academically, stimulated creatively, encouraged athletically, inspired personally, supported emotionally, filled spiritually, and appreciated and loved for their unique, authentic selves.

Our admission process is designed to allow both parties to explore each other’s needs; our utmost concern is for the student and finding the right fit for their success. Interested applicants are evaluated individually using the following set of criteria:

Academic Readiness Performs at or above grade level; meets minimum ranges for required assessments; demonstrates curiosity and task persistence
Behavioral Expectations Respects peers and adults; follows classroom routines and expectations; limited or no history of disciplinary infractions at prior schools
Mission Alignment Open to faith formation; values service, compassion, and community involvement
Social-Emotional Fit Demonstrates kindness, patience, and the ability to appropriately engage with peer group
Support Considerations Parent/student cooperation and transparency; needs fall within the capacity of Viz learning and counseling resources
