Academic & Community-Building Camps 2026

Montessori and Lower School camps open for registration on February 13, 2026. Toddler camp and all Middle School camps open for registration March 23, 2026. More info on specific camps below.

Toddler Camp

Our newest Viz students will experience a week of exploration in their classroom, meet new friends, and start their Montessori journey. Campers will enjoy some summer fun with hands-on activities and plenty of play time.

  • For new students enrolled in the Viz Montessori Toddler program for the 2026-2027 school year
  • June 1-4, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Campers should bring a sack lunch each day

Montessori Camps

Get ready for a week filled with sunshine, creativity, and sweet summer fun! Campers will dive into summer-themed crafts and activities, splash into some water play, and enjoy plenty of delicious summer treats along the way. It’s the perfect mix of hands-on fun and warm-weather excitement!

  • For students entering Viz Montessori half or full-day preschool or Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year (No toddlers)
  • June 1-4 and June 8-11, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
  • Campers should bring a sack lunch each day
  • Campers must be potty-trained

Lower School Camps

Experience a week of fun, learning, and creativity! Our full-day Lower School Summer Discovery camp offers an exciting blend of indoor and outdoor experiences designed to spark curiosity and keep young minds engaged. Each day, campers will jump into hands-on cooking projects, tackle fun math challenges, explore reading and writing adventures, and unleash their creativity through arts and crafts. There’s also plenty of time for outdoor exploration and active play in our outdoor learning space, The Owl’s Nest!
 
  • For Viz students entering Grades 1-5
  • June 1-4 and June 8-11, 9:00 a.m.-3:30 pm.
  • Campers should bring a sack lunch each day

Middle School Camps

Middle School Kick Off Camp
Heading into Middle School this fall? This camp is the perfect way to kick off your summer! Get ready for nonstop fun with interactive and cooperative games designed to help you meet new friends, strengthen friendships with current classmates, and stay connected all summer long. Each day includes a light snack to keep you fueled for the fun.

  • For Viz students entering Grades 6-8
  • June 1-3, 8:30-11:30 a.m.
Math Camp
Get ready to sharpen your math skills in a whole new way! This camp puts a fresh, fun spin on reviewing key math concepts through interactive games and hands-on activities. Students will build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and collaborate with peers—all while having a great time.

This camp is designed to support and reinforce foundational math skills for students entering Introduction to Pre-Algebra and Pre-Algebra. It is not an accelerated math program.

  • For Viz students entering Grades 6-8
  • June 1-3, 12:00-3:00 p.m.

Cooking Camp
Does your daughter love to cook? Then Cooking Around the World is the perfect camp for her! Campers will sharpen their cooking skills while exploring delicious cuisines from around the globe—from Chinese to Mexican to Italian and more. Each day brings hands-on fun in the Visitation Food Science Kitchen, where campers will create, taste, and celebrate their culinary creations. It’s a week full of flavor, creativity, and tasty discoveries! All recipes are nut-free.

  • For Viz students entering Grades 6-8
  • June 15-17, 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds will only be issued for cancellation notices received in writing at least two weeks prior to camp.

All indoor facilities are air-conditioned. Any outdoor camps will be brought indoors during inclement weather or when there is extreme heat. Visitation Academy reserves the right to cancel camps if minimum registration is not met.

Visitation Academy is an independent, private Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori preschool and Kindergarten program, the area's only all-girl elementary program for Grades 1-5, and an all-girl middle school and all-girl high school.
