Viz Welcomes New Upper School Assistant Principal, Sunnie Hughes

Visitation Academy is proud to announce Sunnie Hughes as our new Upper School Assistant Principal, beginning July 1, 2025. With more than 15 years of experience in education, leadership, and student life, Sunnie brings a deep commitment to student growth, equity, and inclusion.

She holds a Master’s degree in Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership with a focus on Catholic Education.

Sunnie is passionate about fostering learning environments where young women feel empowered, supported, and inspired to grow. She’s excited to join the Viz community and support our mission of nurturing confident, capable students grounded in faith, hope, and gentle dignity.
