HOSA Momentum Is on the Rise

The first (and currently only) Missouri HOSA chapter at a Catholic middle school was launched at Viz during the 2025-2026 school year, and to say it is off to a strong start would be an understatement. Eleven Viz Middle School students have qualified for the HOSA State Leadership Competition. This is in addition to the 8 Upper School students who also qualified. As a chapter in its third year of Upper School and its first year of Middle School, this is a significant milestone for the Viz HOSA program.

This was the most competitive year in Missouri HOSA history, with 2,809 students competing in the State qualifiers. Despite a shorter-than-ideal preparation timeline, Viz students selected their events in January, prepared within the same month, and successfully qualified for the state competition. Qualifying for the state level and earning a coveted top 10 spot is an incredible accomplishment and something to truly celebrate.
