Viz Athlete Evie H. ’26 Honored with GISL Outstanding Sportsmanship Award
Wednesday, February 4, was National Girls and Women in Sports Day—making it the perfect occasion to honor Viz athlete Evie H., Class of 2026. Evie received the Girls Independent Schools League Outstanding Sportsmanship Award on behalf of Viz at the National Girls and Women in Sports Day Conference, held at St. Joseph’s Academy.
Girls Independent Schools League member schools gathered to celebrate and recognize each school’s GISL Sportsmanship Award nominee and to hear from an inspiring panel of GISL alumnae who have built meaningful careers in athletics.
Evie is a three-sport athlete, competing in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse all four years at Viz. The Girls Independent Schools League Outstanding Sportsmanship Award recognizes a senior athlete who leads her team by example and demonstrates outstanding character. Congratulations, Evie!
