A Joyful Celebration of Faith, Creativity, and New Beginnings
Visitation Academy celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated Middle School space – a project fully donor-funded through the Spirit of Annecy Capital Campaign – on Monday, April 13, with an evening of joy, pride, and community spirit. The celebration featured a special blessing of the space by Archbishop Mitchell T. Rozanski, a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and an opportunity for guests to explore the vibrant new learning environment.
Ahead of the ceremony, the Prayer Chapel was privately blessed, adding a meaningful spiritual milestone to the occasion. The event also highlighted student talent with a celebration of Viz student Carolina V., Class of 2030, whose artwork will be transformed into a stained-glass insert for the Chapel door—making the evening a true reflection of faith, creativity, and the bright future of Viz.
Visitation Academy is an independent, private Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori preschool and Kindergarten program, the area's only all-girl elementary program for Grades 1-5, and an all-girl middle school and all-girl high school.
