Women Behind the Vision Inspire Viz Middle School Students
Middle School students recently had the opportunity to meet some of the women who helped bring Viz’s new Middle School space to life. Representatives from PARIC and Mackey Mitchell visited campus to share their experiences working on the project and to speak with students about their careers, education, and professional journeys. The group included architects, engineers, an electrician, an estimator, a marketing professional, a human resources executive, and the project manager behind the Viz build.
For students, the experience was more than a behind-the-scenes look at the new building they will enjoy every day—it was an inspiring reminder of the many possibilities available to women in leadership and STEM careers. The conversation encouraged students to think boldly about their own futures and reinforced an important message at the heart of a Viz education: women belong in every room where ideas are imagined, designed, built, and led.
Experiences like this reflect the heart of a Viz education: encouraging students to think boldly, explore new possibilities, and grow in confidence as future leaders and changemakers.
