Viz Student Earns Third at HOSA International Conference

Visitation Academy Middle School student Alyssa M. '30 earned third place in Life Threatening Situations at the HOSA (Future Health Professionals) International Leadership Conference, held June 19.

After advancing through regional and state competitions, Alyssa competed against more than 15,000 students from across the United States and around the world, ultimately finishing third in her event. She was one of only six Missouri middle school students to reach the final round of competition and the only Missouri student to earn a top-three medal.
Her achievement is especially notable because it came during the inaugural year of Visitation Academy's Middle School HOSA chapter, helping establish a strong foundation for the program while earning recognition on the international stage.

Visitation's Middle School chapter was also represented by Winnifred B. 30, who advanced to Round 2 of international competition, highlighting the immediate success of the school's newest student organization.

The Upper School HOSA chapter also celebrated a milestone as Delaney V. '26 became the first Visitation Academy Upper School student to advance to Round 2 of competition at the HOSA International Leadership Conference for a second consecutive year.
