Big Ideas. Real Engineering. Seventh Grade at Viz.

At Viz, innovation starts early—and our seventh graders just proved it. As the culmination of their robotics unit in Computational Engineering (yes, seventh grade!), students took on the challenge of recreating machines using learned mechanisms, motors, sensors, and lights.
Buder Gym was absolutely buzzing as students unveiled their creations to peers, families, and faculty—bringing concepts off the page and into motion. From a fully functional vending machine to an airport security scanner to a Pop-A-Shot basketball game to a car wash and more, the creativity and problem-solving on display were next level.

This is what learning looks like at Viz: hands-on, high-energy, and driven by curiosity. We couldn’t be prouder of these young engineers.
