Hands-On Learning

Anatomy and physiology students took a “Tour of the Body” field trip at Logan University, where they had the opportunity to see firsthand the organ systems they have been studying in their classes. Multiple Logan student-tour guides led students through the human body using cadavers and individual specimens. Viz students were given gloves and the chance to hold a human brain, heart, and several other organs. The experience solidified what students learned about the physiological workings of the human body because the functions are so highly connected to the anatomical structures.
