Nancy Colón joined Viz in 2019 as a Montessori and Lower School substitute teacher. She now holds the role of Development Operations Manager in the Viz Advancement Office. Before Viz, Nancy spent most of her working years in administrative roles at Harvard, Princeton, and the University of Richmond. Nancy has a BA from American University in Washington, D.C., majoring in international relations with a double minor in history and German. She also has a project management associate's certificate from George Washington University.
Lisa Kohler is a proud Viz alumna and a charter member of the Class of 2002. While she never expected to be back at Viz as a staff member, Lisa now spends as much time here as she did 20-plus years ago! She is charged with creating a hospitable environment and engaging programming for alumnae, the Mothers' and Fathers' Clubs, and new families. Lisa also runs Viz's two annual fundraising events. She received her BA in communications and public relations from Loyola University Chicago. Before returning to St. Louis, Lisa spent six years in Chicago and four in New York City working in the nonprofit education sector. She also is a classically trained vocalist who sings regularly around the St. Louis area.
Jenny Lucas believes the gift of a good education is the greatest gift one can give. Jenny joined the Viz community in 2011 after careers in public accounting and corporate law. As Chief Advancement Officer, she leads the school's fundraising efforts and oversees marketing and communications, constituent relations, and enrollment management. Jenny is a Certified Fundraising Executive. She graduated from Washington University with a BS in business administration and from St. Louis University School of Law. Mrs. Lucas truly enjoys coming to work each day and being part of this vibrant school community!
Colleen Porter knows that clear and effective communication is vital, especially at Visitation Academy, where there are three divisional schools and three sets of parent groups, each with individual information needs. Another essential responsibility of her position as Editor and Communications Specialist is ensuring prospective Viz families' needs also are addressed. This is her fourth year at Viz, and she is thrilled to be part of such a fantastic and supportive community. She loves writing and majored in Communications Management at Missouri State University. After many years in the corporate world, she is enjoying her work in a nonprofit environment.
Rachelle Morgan believes communication is at the core of everything we do and allows for human connection in all our relationships. Rachelle joined Viz in October 2021 as Director of Marketing and Communications, strategizing and overseeing the implementation of marketing and communications efforts and facilitating consistent messaging and branding on the school website, printed and digital materials, and all additional promotional opportunities. She has a BS and MA in communications from Missouri State University and a JD from the University of Florida–Levin College of Law. An avid runner, Rachelle enjoys getting her steps in – walking the halls, seeing the smiles, and knowing the stories of Viz students!
Margaret Conley joined the Visitation Academy family in 2009 as a student and then again in September 2021 as the Administrative Assistant for the Advancement Department. In this position, Margaret helps with the planning, coordination, and execution of many of the school’s community and social events and a variety of fundraising events, including the annual golf tournament and Safari Auction. She also assists with other activities and tasks within the department to help further the mission of the school. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Louis University, majoring in Elementary Education. She also has certification in Early Childhood Education.

Visitation Academy is an independent, private Catholic school offering a coeducational Montessori preschool and Kindergarten program, the area's only all-girl elementary program for Grades 1-5, and an all-girl middle school and all-girl high school.
