Marian "Bo" Mehan ‘70 Named to the Billiken Hall of Fame

Viz alum Bo Mehan, proud member of the Class of 1970, was named to the Billiken Hall of Fame Class of 2022 by the Saint Louis University Department of Athletics.
Bo was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award which recognizes student-athletes who made major contributions to St. Louis University's athletics program through personal time, effort, and interest and through many years of service and/or have distinguished themselves as exceptional in their chosen field of endeavor. Bo certainly “fits the bill” in all areas.
Bo graduated magna cum laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and magna cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law. She was equally committed to athletics during her years as an undergraduate, playing for the SLU women's basketball team. Today, Bo serves as Co-Chair of the Estate Planning and Probate Department at the law firm of Lewis Rice. She was previously recognized by SLU for her professional prowess, having been inducted into Saint Louis University School of Law’s Order of the Fleur de Lis Hall of Fame. This is the highest honor from the SLU School of Law and is given to alumni who are leaders in their communities and in their practices. She also is Vice-Chair of the Saint Louis University Board of Trustees and has made a significant contribution as a committee member for SLU's "Get Her in the Game" scholarship initiative for Billiken women student-athletes. Additionally, Bo has served in leadership positions with several St. Louis nonprofit organizations over the years including the Pershing Foundation, Lesley A. Waldheim Foundation, and ACCESS Academies.
Induction festivities took place in a private ceremony on Friday, February 4, and the inductees were recognized at halftime of the men's basketball game on Saturday, February 5 at Chaifetz Arena. Join us in congratulating Bo on this amazing honor.
