Dynamic Duo

Congratulations to Viz's own Laura Gurly, Grade 3 teacher, and Lori Horton, Lower School librarian! Their proposed presentation, Using Literature, Research, and Hands-On Projects to Think Like an Entrepreneur, was accepted for the 2023 Summit for Transformative Learning in St. Louis (STLinSTL).

 

Created and hosted by Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School (MICDS), STLinSTL brings together experts and master teachers to share research-based, sustainable learning practices. STLinSTL seeks to prepare educators to create meaningful changes in their practice to meet the needs of today's learners. The Viz duo will present their subject matter to fellow educators during the June 1-2, 2023, conference.
