Special Visitors

Visitation Academy is hosting an accreditation team from the Independent Schools Association of the Central States (ISCAS) this week, beginning with a welcome reception in DeChantal Hall on Sunday, April 16, at 4:00 p.m. Viz started the seven-year accreditation cycle in January 2022, a process designed to support member schools in fulfilling their mission.

Since the initial kick-off, Viz completed the second phase – a comprehensive self-study process involving all school employees and key stakeholders – in preparation for this accreditation team visit. The accreditation team confirms the school's adherence to the ISACS Standards for Membership and uses the self-study report, together with on-the-ground observations and previous experience, to commend the school for its strengths and make recommendations for school improvement. Throughout the remaining years of the cycle, Viz will implement plans for school improvement and report to ISACS regularly on our progress. The goals Viz sets based on the ISACS study will align with our Strategic Plan and Visitation Salesian Network report goals.
