• What is Safari?

  Safari is Viz's largest fundraising event of the year. All proceeds from the event, which includes a silent and live auction, help to underwrite Viz's operating budget. Proceeds from Fund-A-Need provide the much needed resources for tuition assistance for families in need.

• When is Safari?

  Safari is held the last Sunday in February. This year, Safari: Viz-a-thon 2021 is being held on Saturday, February 27th, 2021.

• How much does it cost to register?

  It's completely free! Once you register, you have access to bid on items (starting February 22), make a Fund-A-Need: Tuition Assistance donation, or purchase instant items.

• Why do I need to register?

  If you want to bid on any items, make a donation to Fund-A-Need: Tuition Assistance, or purchase any available instant items, you will need to register through GiveSmart.

• Who should I contact if I'm having trouble registering?

• I live outside of the St. Louis area. How do I collect any items I've purchased after the auction?

  If you are not local to St. Louis, we will work with you to accommodate shipping your items. Please contact awhite@visitationacademy.org.

• Do I have to purchase a Viz Hospitality at Home Package to attend?

  No! This is simply an opportunity to enhance your virtual Safari experience and make a contribution to Viz at the same time.

• Where do I watch the live event?

  We will publish the link for our live event on Saturday, February 27 via email, social media, and right here on our website.

   

• I can’t attend this year. Can I still donate?
