The Fellowship Program

During the final three weeks of the school year, students in Grades 9 and 10 take part in May Term—an immersive learning experience designed to extend and enrich Visitation’s traditional academic program. Through hands-on projects, collaborative work, and real-world experiences, students dive deeply into a subject of interest, discovering new passions while developing confidence, creativity, and practical skills.

Distinctly Viz, May Term empowers students to move beyond the boundaries of a traditional classroom and experience learning in dynamic, meaningful ways. Whether exploring new ideas, solving real challenges, or engaging directly with their community and the world around them, students are encouraged to think boldly, grow independently, and connect their learning to life beyond school.
To support this experience, we will seek to connect our students with professionals in their fields of interest.
